Ordinance Adjusting Daily City Meetings

SECTION: 1 Daily City Meetings shall end no later than10:30 pm. SECTION: 2 All city members shall be enabled to prepare for bed time after 10:30 pm, up until the lights out time of 11:00 pm. a. During the time between 10:30 pm and 11:00 pm, city members may only use their time to be inside their rooms or make tripes to the bathroom to prepare for bed. b. If any city members use their time between 10:30 pm and 11:00 pm for purposes other than those listed above, they may be fined up to 200 hundred dollars and receive up to 5 minutes of jail time. SECTION 3: During any time of a city meeting, a city member may raise their hand and make a "motion to have a stretch break." This motion must be seconded. If said motion is seconded, the city members may engage in 20 seconds of stretching and return to their original positions. a. There shall be no more than 3 stretch breaks in one city meeting. b. If the motion is not seconded, no stretch break will take place. SECTION 4: This ordinance shall take effect at the earliest time permitted by law.
