County Government aims to serve the multiple city governments that make up a county. Resolutions and bills are passed through the county commissioners.
County Government is a higher form of government at Buckeye Boys State that encompasses multiple different cities. Every Buckeye Boys State delegates lives within a county and will participate in county party caucuses to select County Party nominations. During the caucus process, all delegates will select a County Party Chairman and Secretary to conduct all elections business.
County Government has the elected positions of Commissioner, Treasurer, Engineer, Recorder, Auditor, Prosecuting Attorney, Clerk of Courts, Judge of Municipal Courts, Judge of the Court of Common Pleas, and State School Board Member. County legislation is introduced by County Commissioners and often goes through multiple readings before being passed.
