86th General Assembly Regular Session, 2023 - 2024 Sponsored by Senators Giles, Ritterbusch, and Powell If passed as is, a grant of two-million dollars would be provided to school districts to hire mental health professionals, partner with local health organizations, and to do whatever else the school district sees fit. The specific utilization of these funds will be up to the school districts to decide.
