HB4: Clean Energy Transformation Bill

HB4: Clean Energy Transformation Bill, sponsored by Wyatt Vick and Travis Allen. The bill would convert 5 coal power plants into nuclear plants as well as raise the public opinion of nuclear power. The water would be provided by Lake Erie. This bill would create state sponsored education on nuclear power and create scholarships for degrees relating to plant management. Minority Whip Carlson requested that the bill shall be moved to the Agriculture, Conservation, and Energy committee. Representative Sites agreed. Representative Sheets and Assistant Minority Floor Leader Tarantine requested that the bill shall be moved to the Jobs and Infrastructure Committee. Assistant Minority Whip Bryant motioned to end debate, Minority Floor Leader Koh seconded. The bill was moved into second consideration.
