A bill sponsored by Senators Amara, Lane, and Seawald that enacts several sections of the revised code starting June 15th, 2023 and ends on June 30th, 2025. This bill includes several notable parts that state that law enforcement must make an audible siren noise “wee woo” while pulling someone over, addresses resisting or assisting arrest, and addresses criminal charges that involve driving. Assistant Minority Whip Bryant states that he believes the bill shall be placed under the Education, Local Government, and Urban Affairs. Majority Floor Leader Schutte agreed with Representative Bryant. Representative Vick moved to end debate. Floor minority leader Koh seconded. Speaker Pro Tempore Hudson stated that he believes the bill shall be moved to the Jobs and Infrastructure Committee. The house agreed to move this bill into second consideration
