HB7: Graduated Income Tax Bill

Graduated Income Tax Bill. Sponsored by Floor Minority Leader Koh and Majority Whip Gill. This bill will fund the government through AQ graduated income tax. Assistant Minority Whip Bryant suggested moving the bill to the Finance, Appropriations, Ways and Means committee. Minority Whip Carlson suggested not moving on with the bill. Floor Minority Leader Koh stated his reasoning for the bill and its possible future with the state government. Majority Whip Gill agreed and added on to Mr. Koh’s statement. Representative Burt moved to end debate. Representative Bennett seconded. The House voted to move the bill to second consideration.
