As BBS starts to wind down, Koppin still is on top of its accomplishments and growth. As we finish the day, here is what will be accomplished. Mayor Wright Chen applied for a competitive grant and worked closely with the councilmen for the 100-acre land sale. Treasurer (Dylan Davenport) reported that the audit, state, and federal taxes are completed. The city engineer (Trenton Kruse) reported that he got the grant for the solar road and the plant and that he got approval for the water treatment. Director of Law (Gabriel Swihart) Had a successful trial this morning in which his opponent was fined $50. Parks and Rec's director (Gavin Amoroso) reported that the map is finished and that money is being sent to the right places. Finally, all ordinances that were introduced yesterday were passed today. Special thanks to Councilor Rob, Mayaor Wright Chen, Governor Nathan Malone, and everyone else for their hard work and leadership. This city is great, and we are greater. Thank you all so much for your hard work! -Parker S. Tubbs, Clerk of Mayor Wright Chen, BBS Koppin city 6/17/2023.
