City Council Meeting #005 06/17/23

At our AM Strong City Council meeting two main resolutions to help with the citizens of Strong City were passed. The first was a $50,000 grant towards the improvements of the Strong City Community Hospital and the expansion of their facilities for the greater community. The second resolution passed was the allowance of a Top Golf facility (facilitated by Parks and Recreation Director Steven Glew) to be built within city limits. At first, the project was dismissed because of its illegitimacy but after the persistence of Top Golf personal, they decided to pay for extra costs brining the grand total down to $6,521. Additionally, Evan Yost (Police/Fire Chief), explained that with the rise in adolescent and teen violence, this new Top Golf facility will help bring down crime rates significantly.
