Schuck Plans to Build a City Park

Schuck city is planning on building a city park. This park will include a pool, volleyball courts, basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball and softball fields, a playground, and walking/running paths. The goal of this project is to create an enjoyable outdoor space to encourage residents of Schuck city to get out into the community and remain active. The motion of this idea was tabled after yesterday's council meeting on June 14, 2023. The park was expected to cost $1.3 million. Council members had budget concerns and decided to hold off on approving the plans until the Parks and Recreation Director and City Engineer were able to negotiate a better price for the project.
