The lottery(raffle) is one of the funniest things about Boys State. When going into this job, we had a general idea of what we was doing as I had previous lotteries before at school functions, however those are different than this. We are the ones setting it up. So here is what we suggest; follow the guides from 2021 and 2019, or just give them quick read to get a understanding of what you will be doing. We started by working on poster design and tickets(ask the legionaries, there may be some real rickets in the box). When we got to do our call with the Ohio Lottery Commissioner, he was a great help to us. We then printed our tickets and poster to the end of our work day. While attempting to sell tickets we discovered a euchre tournament that was being set up in flower, so we scheduled a meeting with them to discuss a payment percentage.
