Auditor Report

In the last two days, the treasurer and I have completed the budget for the city and finished payroll. From now, everyone will receive their check near ten o'clock each morning. In comparison to the previous year, we have increased the budget for unplanned contingencies, giving us $174,000 dollars for emergencies, and we have given extra retirement funds to the city. Our taxes were submitted today, and along with payroll, we have paid almost $600,000 of the city's money today. We are still well within our budget, and with extra money for emergencies, the city should not have to worry about us going over budget and becoming bankrupt. Overall, the last two days have been quite productive and busy for the treasurer and me.
