Strong City Safety

At 2:40 pm this afternoon our Strong City Council voted to activate the Emergency Alert System and Tornado Siren put up by none other than our Director of Safety Services Tristan Ogburn. Tristan explained that “ the public needs to be alerted about certain emergency situations such as tornados, amber alerts, and other dangerous threats to public safety.” He further said that the EAS system is “vital to giving the public quick and prompt information about city-wide threats.”
